The Mansfield Brass, so named from the street that its leader Paul Del Rossi lives on, was born playing Christmas Carols under the beautiful street lamps of the Gladstone Manor section of Lansdowne, Pa. Paul plays trumpet in the quintet and has been providing the neighborhood with Christmas Carols close to Christmas time for the last twelve years (excluding the big snow storm of 2009!).

From these humble beginnings, the group has grown to the point of playing numerous community functions in Delaware County and Chester County at in both indoor and outdoor venues. The group has played parties, both private and public, Arts Festivals, MayDay events, Parades, School Events, Church Services, and Weddings.

The Mansfield Brass plays a broad range of styles that include Classical, Ceremonial, Show tunes, Turn-of-the-Century (1900) popular tunes, Swing, Jazz, Marches, and even Pep Rally type tunes.
